Professional Experience

Sept 2024 – Present Partner, Deal TeamAXL
AXL is a stealth venture studio that builds applications-layer AI/HCI startups. I co-lead our Deal Team by sourcing and vetting external opportunities, and ideating in-house ones. Lots of research, founder meetings, and process design — plus everything from office design to grant applications.
Jul 2020 – Present PartnerExtreme Venture Partners
Formerly full-time, now part-time. I help portfolio companies across ops, UI/UX, fundraising, growth, and more. Board Observer for ThinkData Works (Big Data) and Foxquilt (InsurTech).
Mar 2024 – Present General Partner, Co-FounderRACEBUILT
Currently fundraising for RACEBUILT Fund I – an impact venture fund that invests in the next generation of young Canadian racing drivers. In a sport with no institutional financing ecosystem, we’re looking to pair driver-friendly deals with sustainable returns. Currently fundraising and looking to build our partner network.

Projects

May 2022 – Present FounderSunday Drive
A no-code app featuring scenic driving routes across Canada that I've driven and curated. Grew to 20K+ monthly users organically. Built a corporate events business with clients like Ferrari, Hagerty and national dealership groups. Featured in Autostrada Magazine.
Jul 2024 HostTechnology Events
I run networking events at the intersection of work and play. In July 2024, I hosted a “Tech Founders x Investors Car Meet” featuring a startup pitch competition with smartARM (now part of NVIDIA’s Inception Program) and Mycroft and others. Sponsored by Lucid Motors and Dentons LLP. Drew 300+ founders, investors, and operators.
